= ∫ x² - 3x - 4 - (-x + 4) dx {-2....4}
= ∫ x² - 3x - 4 + x - 4) dx {-2....4}
= ∫ x² - 2x - 8  dx {-2....4}
= x³/3 - 2x²/2 - 8x {4 .... -2}
= (4)³/3 - 2(4)²/2 - 8(4) - (-2)³/3 + 2(-2)²/2 + 8(-2)
= 64/3 - 16 - 32 + 8/3 + 4 - 16
= 72/3 - 60
= 24 - 60
= -36

Jadi luas daerah = 36
